Sami Abusamra

Sami is a London based filmmaker who works across a range of visual styles but who’s output always sits squarely within the world of comedy. He writes as well as directs and has a background in post-production so has been known to edit and animate too. So if you want something hilarious then get in touch!

After graduating film school 84 years ago Sami started his career at MTV producing and directing music programs such as Gonzo with Zane Lowe. His role there involved shooting, directing and cutting numerous hours of live music performances featuring talent such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Graham Coxon, The Kaiser Chiefs and many more. But his passion for comedy has seen him step away from music and towards dead funny stuff. Since then Sami has made numerous award-winning shorts and delivered comedy content for broadcasters such as the BBC and Channel 4, advertising agencies like VCCP, M&C Saatchi and Leo Burnett, and well-known brands such as Nike, Coors Light, The National Lottery, O2, Virgin Trains, and many others.
