Struck by the supreme loneliness of her circumstances during the 2020 global pandemic, a young woman wishes for her dog to become her boyfriend and then endures the myriad of consequences when her wish comes true.

Fredgy created The Dogfriend with a female heavy crew and other female creatives of color at the helm.
