Growing up, Rob Meyer was a huge nerd. And, while he may have given up his dream of being a marine biologist, violinist, or slight-of-hand magician, he brings the same unabashed enthusiasm to his career as a filmmaker.
He’s equally at home making commercials, features, shorts, or documentaries, has won a number of awards that include honors at the Sundance, Tribeca, and Cleveland International Film Festivals along with a Reggie Award and Webby nomination for his work on Raw Craft. He has collaborated with Ben Kinglsey, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alex Woff, Melanie Lynskey, Janeane Garafalo and Anthony Bourdain. He currently lives in Brooklyn and, true to form, spends a fair amount of time birding.
